The MACS highest award, the Narooma Art Prize, was presented to Jane Nielsen of Narooma, for her multi-media work “Picnic at Glasshouse Rocks”.
“The new venue has been a great success, with visitors being very complimentary about the set-up and the high standard of the exhibition,” said MACS president Anne-Marie Kape.
The “Packers’ Prize” and The People’s Choice Award was announced at the conclusion of the exhibition on Monday, April 6.
The raffle prizes will be drawn at 1pm on Monday and also announced separately.
MACS thanks to members Judy Gordon and Rona Walker for their generous donations of artworks for the raffle prizes.

The People’s Choice Award Winner at the 34th MACS Easter Exhibition was Sheryl Miller’s “Heron’s Rest” from the Mixed Media Section.
Over 600 votes were counted over the three-day period of the art and craft display at the Narooma Sport & Leisure Centre which featured over 200 works. Visitors approved the new venue as very central to travellers.
