In poor conditions the Devils players turned up to play, and play they did.
They started well and were focused from the beginning.
The Devils dominated in the first part of the game and 30 minutes in they led 22-0.
Tony Tyrell and Chris Brown led the forwards up the middle and the Wright brothers, Clint and Todd combined well.
Neil and James were everywhere on the field making tackles and doing hit ups.
Riley Hextell made his long awaited return after injury, it was great to have him back.
Trey Parsons also had a great game.
The Devils ended up with their first win of the season 26-14.
Captain coach Clint Wright said that the Devils had now turned a corner.
“The only way now, is up.
“It was great effort by all on the weekend,” he said.

The Devils has a bye this weekend. with only a rep match this Friday in Batemans Bay.
Devils captain coach Clint Wright was selected to play in the representative game being played in Batemans Bay on Friday.
The Devils next game is a home game on Sunday, May 10 with four games being played from 11am.
