Award-winning author Kate Forsyth is author in residence at Eurobodalla libraries in May and will host a writing workshop and a free floor talk.

Ms Forsyth has written more than 30 books including picture books, poetry and novels for adults and children, and is an accredited master with the Australian Guild of Storytellers.
Her most famous book, Bitter Greens, is a combination of fantasy and historical fiction that retells the Rapunzel fairytale, mixed with the dramatic life story of the woman who first told the tale.
Ms Forsyth will lead a writing workshop at Batemans Bay Library on Tuesday, May 19, from 11am to 1pm.
Participants can learn how to generate new ideas and stay motivated.
The workshop costs $20.

Ms Forsyth will also give a free floor talk at Moruya Library on Tuesday, May 19 from 5pm to 6pm, where she will share stories about where she finds inspiration for her books.
She will also talk about her personal journey as an author, including how she juggles family life with the demands of writing.
