He is a big brave soldier in the true Anzac tradition. Well, he thinks so anyway.
He is mostly Staffy with slightly longer legs than a pure breed but he shows all the great character traits that we love Staffies for.
He also has a brother called Oakie and they both need a new home, not necessarily together.
They are very people friendly and seem to be quite obedient, but being only one year old, they still have a wonderful mischievous streak and will no doubt get themselves it some trouble before they mature completely.
But give them a firm routine and an outlet for their energy and they will be the loyalest of companions you will find.
We have another couple of small dogs waiting in the wings for their vet checks and assessments so watch this space.
Our April kitten sale was quite a success and we now only have four left. We have decided to keep the sale on till this lot goes, so if you think you missed out, give us a call and we will see what we can do for you.
There are three male and one female left and of course they are all as cute as.
Quite a few of our cats have found homes too which is music to our ears but there are still four of those wanting new homes too. Piper is a female smokey tabby, almost two years old.
Marguerite is another female tabby and she is two and a half years old.
Jaffa is a light ginger colour male and is also two and a half years old, and last but not least is the Boss (Hugo Boss) who is only 11 months old with ginger and white colouring.
If you are interested in any of these animals, please give us a call on 0410 016 612.
The AWL promotes responsible pet ownership and all pets sold are micro-chipped, vaccinated, wormed and de-sexed and if necessary retrained. Costs are: dogs from $295; puppies from $350; cats from $120; and kittens from $170.
AWL FSC garage sale at Cobargo
ANIMAL Welfare League Far South Coast branch members will be holding a Garage sale at Cobargo showground on this Saturday, May 9 from 9am to 2pm to support the 29 animals they have in care with more waiting to come in!
Please, if you have saleable items you no longer need we would love to have them to raise much needed funds for the branch.
Call our information line on 0400 372 609 if you can help with goods or have a spare few hours.
Branch members are also raising funds so they can offer de-sexing of female cats for only $50 during May for the most financially disadvantaged.
Applications are available at Bega Valley Shire vets on production of a “benefits” card. If you are thinking of taking an animal into your family like Patsy please call 0400 372 609.
