The show continues to draw big numbers of tourists to the district with cars regularly cruising past the farm on the Tilba Punkalla Road just south of Cental Tilba.
More tourists are set to arrive as the Australian television production follows the lead of the original British version offering a cooking school hosted by the show's star Paul West.
A dry run of the cookery school took place on Saturday with some of the other cookery instructors spending a day making butter, bread, jam drops and beetroot relish.
While a couple of Foxtel executives attended Saturday's school as did Leonie Lowe, managing director KEO Australia, there is no word yet as to whether a fourth series has been commissioned yet.
River Cottage Australia is produced by Keo Australia, the Australian offshot of the same Keo Films that created the British River Cottage version with star Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall.
Keo Australia also produced the controversial show Struggle Street that aired recently on SBS television.
Struggle Street producer David Galloway was also the initial producer of River Cottage Australia and the man responsible for choosing Tilba as the location for the series.
The third series is set to air on Foxtel on Tuesday, May 26 and among the locals featured in the first episode are the Narooma Numnutz winter swimmers, who relish more exposure on national television after appearing on the Sunrise breakfast show and also ABC radio.
Paul arrives down on Bar Beach has a chat about why the swimmers do what they do, before jumping in and swimming across inlet with the rest of the swimmers.
He then feeds them hot vegetable soup he prepared earlier on the show.
Paul has since become a regular winter swimmer, but is just a little upset that his new cooking school done on the weekend means he won’t be able to attend that many swims this year.
While River Cottage Australia airs on pay television, locals can get a sneak peak at the entire first episode of Series 3 by checking out the video from the show's Facebook page.
