Rest assured the plan is to retain the Narooma News masthead and all the existing papers on the Far South Coast.
The Narooma News will hopefully be around a long time meeting the needs of the community and publishing all the important news of your town and district.
On the council front it was announced yesterday that IPART approved the special rate variation for Eurobodalla Shire Council.
This will no doubt raise some eyebrows with some believing council should be doing more with less.
On the other hand, council wants to be able to provide all the services and infrastructure we have come to expect.
This week we have a volunteering feature and the message is to get out there and do your bit for the community.
Volunteering make you feel good, allows you to make new friends and you can accomplish a lot.
So go ahead and join one of the clubs and organisations and do you bit.
