LAST Thursday the Echidnas did an amazing item, ‘Celebrate!’ It was a song in sign-language which was a very difficult item to learn. All the Echidnas dressed in their party clothes and put their dancing shoes on. Let’s celebrate for the Echidnas and Miss Rees.

Nepal colour day
ON Wednesday, May 20, we had Nepal colour day, we all had to wear one piece of bright clothing and the rest in school clothes. We raised a lot of money, we raised $390!
We had Nepal colour day to raise money for Nepal because they had a big earthquake. We are raising money so they have enough money to make a new place and fix all the damages they had.
I hope Nepal will be alright and happy to be getting money to fix all the damages the earthquake has done.

District Cross Country
LAST Friday, May 15th, Narooma Public School travelled to Potato Point to compete in District Cross Country. Mr George, Mrs Giblett and Miss Thomas travelled out with the team. We all ran extremely well and had to play versus Bodalla, Broulee, Mogo, Tilba, Ulladulla, Milton, Braidwood, Moruya and Batemans Bay.
We came third overall and have four children going to regional. They are Jack Westoll, Kurtis Carlson, Jamahl Rix and Giaan Café. These stars are off to Ulladulla on the May 29 to run as fast as they can.

State AFL
THIS week Thomas Hodge and Coupar Woods travelled up to Sydney to play in the state AFL comp with other boys from other schools.
I have heard a rumour that Thomas was made vice-captain of the team. It is the third time for Thomas and the first time for Coupar but not so easy for Coupar who just got out of a collarbone dislocation a week ago from playing Rugby League with the Narooma Devils. We wish them all the best luck.

Narooma Public play netball
ON May 21, Narooma Public School Netball Team went to Broulee to play five games of netball. All the girls played exceptionally well and were on their best behaviour. They won three of their games, lost one and drew one. Good job girls! This followed on from their superb 17-0 win over Bodalla the previous week. Well done girls!
