There certainly seemed to be a lot of people around and there was something on for everyone’s tastes and interests.
We were alerted to a rather messy campsite, most likely illegal, on the shores of Nangudga Lake complete with piles of poached abalone shells.
The fact that the campsite is right next to the bridge and visible from the highway makes it all the more wrong.
It would be great if council or Marine Parks did their bit to clean it up and block off access, so that people camp in the proper designated spots don’t do the wrong thing like dumping rubbish and even worse the poached abalone shells.
Did you catch the sunset on Monday night? It certainly was spectacular and it was amazing to see social media light up with all the sunset photos.
Thanks to everyone who contributed their own sunset shots and please check out the gallery of all the amazing sunset photos.
