Adam Fromholtz from Canberra caught first gummy shark caught on Playstation on Saturday.
Although the water temp was around 14.5 black and slimy, they managed to find a few snapper and mowies around the reefs along with a nice gummy shark and plenty of big flatties making for a great mixed box.
Remember that gummy shark are live bearers of young, so if you catch a big female please consider letting it go as it could have a belly full of baby sharks.
Nothing is worse than cutting one open to see these babies. Male sharks are easy to tell as they have the two claspers on their underside.
