The fabulous nature-themed artwork was completed by her grandson and internationally renowned street artist Tim “Phibs” de Haan, assisted by four generations of her family.
Inspired by nature, it features a crested dove, pelican and a big magpie.
He also recently coordinated the indigenous-themed mural on the Narooma pool building with assistance of local artists and students.
“Graffiti street art is now snowballing around Australia and while some may have preconceived ideas about spray paint and cans, more and more people are getting it and appreciating it,” Tim said.
He now lives in Sydney and travels the world doing the street art.
Mina thinks the mural is fantastic and will promote Anglican church activities, including the Mainly Music kindergarten activities and toy library.
