The spring flowers brightened up the bush with displays of white rock wax-flower, and the dramatic purple splashes of indigofera. There was plenty of birdlife, and a young goanna was startled from its slumber.
Kooraban National Park was created in January 2001. It covers an area of 11626ha. Located in the Dignams Creek area (15km south-west of Narooma) this park covers almost 14,000 hectares and protects important habitat for koalas and several endangered frog species.
The park skirts the southern boundary of Eurobodalla. It is a narrow corridor of park set between large tracts of State forest which offers good opportunity for 4WD enthusiasts.
