Waste of cash....not suitable for large boats now...the end concrete blocks have already tumbled over ...it narrower. ..and the depth angle has changed! Good from far far from good!
Rick Diaz
I agree. We have lost width and it is too small. there should had been more thought put into it.

Not one Council person who designed or thought about the best outcome for the Apex ramp fishes, owns a boat or has seen the changing face of the eddies at Apex ... this is what you end up with. The Narooma Port Committee tried in vain to discuss with Council the intricacies of this design ... to NO avail. Dave Clark put it in a nutshell ... wait till Xmas to see the fun and games. As a side issue has anyone felt the last pontoon 'rocking' in a strong eddy??
Philip Creagh
Forgot a parking spot for the sting rays?
Terry Commins
It too narrow on either sides. When Christmas comes and there is a lot of boats. There especially Hugh one. There will be problem somebody smashing into each other.
Mary Spagnolo
If these guys were in private industry they would have been sacked as of last weekend 4 boats have lost props owing to the ramp being too shallow now they would not listen to comments from the public wait till Christmas and see who tries to drown with the big tides.
Dave Clark
Also, here are a couple of comments on Facebook post about our online story about Potato Point residents renewing calls for a firebreak:
Underpinning any fire risk management should be the individual properties' fire plan. The neighbouring She-Oaks aren't going to accelerate a fire anyway. Scare-mongering and blaming NPWS is misdirected energy. Insure your property and head down the beach.

If they need it, they need it.
