NAROOMA police officers have been busy carrying out routine firearm inspections. Owners of registered firearms can expect to be notified by police prior to an inspection.
Prowler busted
JUST before midnight on Saturday police were called to a property in Old South Coast Road, Narooma in regard to a prowler.
Police located and spoke to a 31-year-old Narooma man in the rear yard. He was found to be in possession of a small amount of cannabis.
The man was arrested and conveyed to Narooma Police Station. He was given a court attendance notice for possession of a prohibited drug.
Bike stolen
BETWEEN 6pm on Tuesday, September 11 and 4.30pm the following day a man’s black and red mountain bike was stolen from the walkway of a hotel on the Princes Highway at the top end of town.
