The Bodalla Christmas Carols return this Saturday, Dec. 5. This great community project is conducted jointly by the Bodalla RFS and the Uniting Church. It starts at 6.30pm at the RFS shed with the ever popular 'firies' sausage sizzle, and then the carols commence at 7.30pm.

Santa, singers and the Dalmeny Ice Creams Aplenty van will be there at the Bodalla RFS shed too. And there are exciting plans to have some special local voices leading the singing this year.
The good folk Narooma Plaza meanwhile are again presenting the Narooma carols on Sunday, Dec. 13 at 7pm at NATA Oval. Click here to see the 2014 Narooma carols
Special guest at Narooma will be Santa Claus arriving on a back of a RFS fire engine, along with lots of local talent singing and performing on stage. There will be food including pizza available as well as the Dalmeny Ice Creams Aplenty van.
And not missing out is Bermagui. The Four Winds Festival has organised two carol events at Bermagui including the free Community Carols on the Bermagui Oval from 6pm on Friday, Dec. 18, with carols including Joy to the World, Silent Night and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing anyone of all ages will be able to join in.
Bring your picnic with a rug or low chairs to enjoy the evening. From 6pm there will be a sausage sizzle and entertainment before we all burst into song.
The Bega Valley Band is our accompaniment with local choirs to lead the singing: Heartsong, Friday Choir, That Bunch of Singers and the Bega St Choir.
The line-up also includes students from Bermagui Primary, Bermagui Pre-School, Little Lambs Pre-School, Little Yuin Pre-School and Bega Valley Children’s Choir. The community carols event is brought to you courtesy of theBermagui Chamber of Commerce and Four Winds.
Then on Saturday, Dec. 19 at 8pm there is a more traditional carol experience at Four Winds’ Windsong Pavilion for those wishing to experience the beauty of choral seasonal music. Heartsong and the Friday Choir will take you on a beautiful, reflective musical journey beginning in the Windsong Pavilion and finishing under the stars. This choral concert will include pieces by JS Bach, Tchaikovsky, Prayer Before Sleep by Robinovitch and Ubi Caritas by Gjeilo.
Heartsong is a choir based in Bega, known for their performances of sacred and medieval pieces. The Friday Choir is the collection of eight individual voices, some of whom direct their own choirs. Tickets are $40 and available from www.fourwinds.com.au
