Perry Pericleous’ grandsons Jacob, 13, and his brother Luke, 10, endeavoured to visit as many of the places as possible.
“I had an awesome time here in Narooma,” Jacob said. “There are so many exciting things to do.”
First up the boys checked out the Bodalla Fishing and Maritime Museum.
“It was excellent; lots to see and learn about,” Jacob said.
The boys went to Moruya to visit GTS Dirt Karts and hired the dirt go karts. It was clearly a highlight for both Luke and Jacob.
“It was so much fun, loud and dusty. My Bapou (grandfather) took a video of us and we enjoy looking at it every day.”
The lads also headed off for a gold mining tour at Montreal Goldfield.
“I was disappointed because we couldn’t dig for gold or do any panning but it was still interesting to learn how they worked in the gold fields,” Jacob said.
The brothers ducked in to Linda’s Sweats and Treats for lots of good lollies then headed off to the inlet.
“We saw some lazy seals sleeping on the rocks and some stingrays swimming,” Jacob said.
They headed up to the lookout to catch some whales. They didn’t catch sight of any but were lucky enough to see dolphins riding the waves.
“Thanks for a lovely holiday.”
