GREENS renovations didn't slow the scoring this week with many players bettering their handicaps. Monday's stableford saw some particularly fierce competition, with Julie Blessington and Judy Anderson coming out the most unlucky ones, losing strokes but not getting amongst the prizes.
Five players on 40 points or more attests to how well some of our ladies are playing.
Wednesday was Presidents Day and this year Dierdre chose a flag event for us to play. Leone Whelan capped off a fine game with a birdie on the 19th hole to easily capture the trophy. Congratulations Leone.
