Camper noise – Police were called to the Dalmeny campground around 11.30pm Saturday when a group of campers was causing a disturbance. A noise abatement notice was issued at 1.30am and the persons involved were asked to leave the next morning by management, as other campers were so put off by the noise and antics that they wanted to leave too.

Injured driver – Around midnight Friday, March 25, police attended to a parked Audi vehicle on the side of the Princes Highway north of the Tuross River bridge. A 39-year-old female was located inside the Audi sedan, with bleeding from a head injury. Police administered first aid to the wound, and requested ambulance assistance. The female was taken to Moruya Hospital for treatment by ambulance personnel. An inspection of the vehicle revealed collision damage to the front and nearside of the vehicle. Police investigations are continuing.
Drink drivers – A 28-year-old ACT man stopped on the Princes Highway, Narooma, at 8.20pm Saturday was charged with mid-range drink driving after he recorded 0.086. A 46-year-old local man also stopped in Narooma at 8pm last Wednesday was charged with high-range after he recorded 0.153.
Gear stolen – Fishing gear was stolen from under a veranda at a Bluewater Drive, Narooma residence overnight Sunday.
Supermarket theft – A 27-year-old female stopped in Narooma supermarket at 3.15pm Friday was found to be in possession of $180 worth of goods she allegedly had not paid for. She was detained until police arrived and she was charged with larceny.
Plants found – Police executed a search warrant at a Dalmeny residence on Thursday where they found a small amount of cannabis leaf and 12 mature cannabis plants up to 1.8 metres in height. A 40-year-old Dalmeny man was issued with a court attendance notice for cultivate and possess prohibited drugs.
Outstanding warrant – Police attended a Narooma address last Monday where a 34-year-old man was arrested for an outstanding warrant. He was bailed to appear before Narooma Local Court next month.
