The official occasion to mark Rev Oliphant’s retirement was at Cobargo Uniting Church on Sunday, March 20.
A farewell luncheon was held for David and his wife Angela on Thursday, March 17, at the Narooma Golf Club, with many church friends present.
Guests included Liz Connor, Nancy Currey, the Rev Barry Flanagan, Robert Dunn, Narelle Farmer, Carol and Bruce Light, Keith Crapp and Roz and Peter Benson.
A large group of well wishers was at the Narooma Golf Club function.
Uniting Church services are held in Bodalla on Sundays at 11am on the corner of the Princes Highway and Clarke Street. Phone 4476 3059 for more information.
