Narooma Rotary president Bob Antill said the club was very proud of this program and the support Rotary receives from local businesses with more than 60 people at the awards night this year.
“The program offers local businesses the opportunity, through Rotary, to acknowledge the efforts and contributions of employees who consistently achieve a high standard of work performance and show personal qualities worthy of such an award,” he said.
MC Rotarian Lynda Ord described the awards night as a very positive and uplifting experience where those who contribute so much to the success of local businesses and to our community are publicly acknowledged.
“What is wonderful too is it is not a competition,” she said. “Everyone nominated by their employers receives an award. What was also inspiring this year was the range of businesses represented by the nominees.”
Those who received awards this year were:
- Sarah Navara (Antons)
- Julie Clark (Dalmeny Long Day Care)
- Jim Sharpe (Estia Health)
- Debra Black (IRT Dalmeny)
- Julie Davis (Narooma Dental Surgery)
- Tracey Benbow (Narooma Golf Club)
- Ray Lawrence (Narooma Plumbing)
- Victoria Wilkin (O’Brien’s Hotel)
- Rebecca Tyrrell (Quarterdeck)
- Christine Lansley (Tilba Real Milk)
- Tracey Tunney (Whale Motor Inn)
