Keg Fest celebrates Justin’s life

BLAKE Robinson and his fellow “Keg Fest 2012” organisers wish to thank the many people who supported event held in aid of Justin “Keg” McGovern.

Keg Fest was held on September 22 at the Quaama Sports Ground, and was a festival to commemorate the life of a much-loved mate who lived in Cobargo and who tragically was taken in a hit-and-run accident.

A crowd of well-behaved friends and family gathered to celebrate a very momentous occasion for Justin.

“We would like to thank the community of Quaama and surrounding areas, the Cobargo Footy Club for the barbecue, the entertainment and light extravaganza by DJ Zanos and the rally of troops that banded together to provide such an awesome event,” Mr Robinson said.

Justin, 17, was killed in a so-far unsolved hit-and-run accident on the Bermagui to Cobargo Road just outside of Cobargo in the early hours of February 19.

Anyone with any information about the accident should contact local police or call Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.
