NAROOMA Blue Water Dragons’ Fundraising Committee was at it again on Friday with a movie night to raise much needed funds for an upcoming project.
Kath and Kimderella was showing and attracted an audience from the young to the not so young.
Eurobodalla’s recently elected mayor, Lindsay Brown and wife Lyn, showed up to support the club, having heard that the movie fundraiser was the number one activity in Narooma that weekend. Lindsay and Lyn have also shown their support for the Club’s community spirit by joining the paddlers on their annual Clean Up Australia day event along the foreshore of Forster’s Bay.
The movie goers enjoyed the Italian themed supper prepared by the dragon boaters and once again it was agreed that Blue Water Dragons know how to tantalise the tastebuds.
Narooma Blue Water Dragons would like to thank John and Jeanette at the Narooma Kinema for hosting the movie night. The Dragon Boaters would also like to thank Michael Stokes for his generous donation of a meal voucher which was raffled on the night.
Stay tuned to read more about the Club’s big project as well as future Come and Try days where you can experience dragon boating on Narooma’s beautiful Wagonga Inlet.
