Around 300 students participated in the Eurobodalla Public Schools Sports Association district cross country event at Potato Point on Thursday.

Students aged 8, 9 and 10 did a 2km loop around the Potato Point village, while the students aged 11, 12 and 13 did a 3km loop. Assisting with the course safety was the Potato Point RFS brigade.
Each school sent their top six runners as well as other students to participate, with an average of 30 students per school.
The top five from each of the age groups qualified for the South Coast regional carnival in Nowra, with the best of the best qualifying for the State event.
Participating schools on Thursday were Moruya, Narooma, Ulladulla, Milton, Central Tilba, Sunshine Bay, Broulee, Mogo, Braidwood, Batemans Bay and Bodalla.
