Devoted Game of Thrones fans may be struggling to go to work today after the latest episode delivered another devastating cliffhanger: What happened to Hodor?
Read our recap here: The Door opens up truth about Hodor
Most believe he is dead, while others still hold an inkling of hope as nothing in Game of Thrones is ever straightforward and death often turns into a new chapter (literally) in author George R.R. Martin's frequently sadistic storyline.
Employee: I'm Not Coming To Office Today.

Hodor's backstory was extremely well done. Such a tragic yet beautiful sacrifice. Not all heroes wear capes. Some hold doors— Tyler McDaniel (@GainzRUs) May 23, 2016
I'll never be able to hold another door the same way. RIP to a legend #Hodor— Mando (@andrew_aromando) May 23, 2016
News about Hodor, however, came sooner for some when the fifth episode leaked online; allowing thousands of fans to watch a complete episode 24 hours before its official broadcast.
The episode, titled The Door, was accidentally leaked to HBO Nordic, not by hackers but by HBO itself, according to Torrent Freak.
Fans noticed the episode was available on HBO Nordic, available in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland, a day before its slated date. Soon after a video was available to watch via Torrent websites.
@WenAndrada hbo nordic lo puso disponible y gente lo vio, vi capturas del cap en fb. No encontre link todavia. pic.twitter.com/Tn72V8Ixwb— Nico (@niconucleosis) May 22, 2016
HBO has been particularly careful about leaks this season after becoming the most pirated show in 2015 and 2014, and has not released preview copies to press before broadcast.
It is the second time an episode of Game of Thrones' sixth season has been leaked. The season's debut episode was leaked just hours before it aired.
