A constant effort by all the boys throughout the day – they showed great endeavour and spirit but ending up losing by 106 points in the end. The positive out of the game was the Lions side continue to fight and battle in the contest all day- but the better side won.

The Club continued to be well regarded by the Local Narooma community with the Uniting Church drop in centre donating $1,000 to the Narooma Lions Football Club to help support the youth that we have within our Club – a very big thank you, to the Uniting Church group.

The Undefeated U13 continued to shows there excellent skills throughout the day and were the only winning side the club had for the day – and won well by 10 goals to remain undefeated.

The whole team played very well – with a highlight being M.Parker kicking 7 gaols.

Under 11’s –Played very well – but were unable to convert their chances  losing by a few goals in the end.

The development side travelled to Tathra knowing there would be some tough competition , and while the side was still in the game at half time- the Tathra side was too strong, winning by just over 100 points. Unfortunately injury to big Roger saw him limp off last in the game. Narooma best included  D. Friskin, R. Adams, B. Day, M. Mikolic, J. Stokes, W. Hodge

U16 won on forfeit

Narooma Lions AFL Women’s Football also played very well – but meet another well organised and skilled team in the Tathra women. They won in the end by 80 points
