Mr Nicol camped at Wallaga Lake when the big seas hit on May 25. “It was a very cold morning, but it seemed worthwhile to get out of bed and see what was happening on the beach,” he said.
Philip Thurston saw our post on Facebook about images of Eurobodalla and we’ve added them into the gallery as well.
“I grew up here and have been living up north for the past 10 years but recently moved back,” Philip said. “I love ocean and nature photography and have been shooting all around the world for the past 10 years. Enclosed are some of my images of the local area that I’ve captured recently since being home. Hope you like them! Every image has a story behind it.”
