Police still seeking leads in Bermagui oval arson
DETECTIVES from Bega are hoping someone saw something or has any information about the burning down of the club buildings at the Bermagui oval one month ago.
There has been no evidence to identify any specific offenders yet, but crime scene investigators did inspect the burned-out shell of the building and detectives are awaiting that evidence.
The Bega Valley Shire Council has lodged an insurance claim on the structure, and the remains will be removed once this process is complete.

Industrial burglary
THE security bars on window of a machinery business in the Narooma industrial estate were unscrewed overnight on Wednesday with persons gaining entry and stealing cash.
Crime scene investigators attended on Thursday collecting evidence including CCTV footage and investigations continue.
Cannabis foils
OFFICERS from the Far South Coast Target Action Group attended a Narooma residence at 2pm on Thursday where they allegedly located 24 grams of cannabis in foils and an amount of cash.
A local man in his 50s was arrested and is helping police with inquries.
Court arrest
A 31-year-old Narooma man had a warrant issued for not attending Narooma local court on Thursday.
Police located the man at a Narooma residence the next afternoon and he was taken to Moruya court where he was charged with the offence.
Park theft
VISITORS had a skateboard, mountain bike and scooter stolen from their campsite on the Narooma Flat overnight on Friday.
Bin alight
VANDALS set alight a wheelie bin on Tilba Street, Narooma at around 3am on Saturday.
Police and the fire brigade attended extinguishing the bin that melted into a toxic mess but could not locate anyone in the area.
