Dalmeny Narooma Bushwalking news

LAST Thursday, October 12 the bush walk was cancelled because of the rain. On Sunday, we assisted Rotary in cleaning the Ringlands walking track.

One of the interesting bush tracks in The Warrumbungle’s we did last month was the Gould’s Circuit. This is a moderate to steep track and it features two lookouts Fedar Tor and Macha Tor both of which gave excellent views of the harder and longer walks of Crater Bluff, Grand High Tops, Dagda Gap, Bluff Mountain and in the distance Mount Exmouth.

A few of us visited Balor Hut which is on Dagda Short Cut and it provided sleeping accommodation for six people who would bring everything in and take everything out. Staying in the hunt for a few days would enable walkers to cover a lot more of the beautiful mountain tracks.
