The 60-second television ad, launched via social media on Friday and due for roll-out on regional TV later this year, highlights the critical role of on-call firefighters in regional NSW communities.
Applications are invited from men and women over the age of 18, who are Australian citizens and have good daytime availability.
The Narooma FRNSW brigade spent a couple days filming for the campaign, driving the fire truck on the Narooma bar southern breakwater, hosting a kids’ barbecue at the station, tossing the footy on Narooma’s main surf beach and firefighter Jason Hextell’s house on Tilba Street also gets a cameo.
Golden Guitar winner, and Country Music Channel’s (CMC) 2016 Female Artist of the Year, Amber Lawrence is lending her award winning musical talent to the campaign’s 60-second ad. The ad will initially launch via social media in May before heading to TV screens.
