What a difference a degree makes. With similar high level cloud to last week, Sunday's 15C water temperature felt balmy when compared to the 14C of the previous week. The second last swim of the BBB season saw one Blue Pointer and five Blue Balls splash and giggle in Horseshoe Bay which also happens to be the location for the ReBoot in Bermagui ocean swim on Sunday, September 25 at 10am. Many of the Blue Balls operate under the belief that the older they get the better they were. Some have even created extensive documentation to support their stories that seem grow more unbelievable with each passing year. However this is not the case with the two youngest members, Bluebottles Harrison and Austin. They are members of the Bermagui Breakers Under 11 Aussie Rules team that has just enjoyed a season of being undefeated. All the team's efforts culminated in a grand final victory on Saturday and Austin and Harrison arrived for Sunday's swim complete championship medal. Still under the effects of way too much post match red cordial they decided to sit out the swim. So if you'd like to swim with the winners and losers, bring your togs, bling and sense of humour to Blue Pool 9am Sunday for the final swim.
