Narooma High School’s rugby league program has hit new heights in 2016, with Teig Wilton having been selected for the NSW Under 17 Rugby League Schoolboys side to tour New Zealand later in the year.
Teig also recently travelled to Perth as part of the NSW Country Rugby League squad.
A spokesperson for the club said they were pleased to have the opportunity to support athletes at a grassroots level in Narooma.
“The Narooma Sporting & Services Club Ltd is proud to be able to support such a strong program at the high school this year and promote sport throughout the Narooma and district community,” the spokesman said.
