THE plans to build a retirement village on the site of the old Narooma Services Club have been delayed until the CWA State Conference next month.
The Narooma Sporting and Services Club signed the “Heads of Agreement” with the Narooma Retirement Village (NRV) company, as well as both the local and State CWA organisations.
Club board chairman Graham Reeve said NRV was working through the processes that need to be followed.
Delegates at the CWA State Conference on November 15 will discuss the proposal to tear down the current meeting hall with the CWA offered meeting rooms in the new village.
The NRV proposal is for a minimum 50 units, costing $20 million.
