Bermagui collision – A two-car collision took place at the Cobargo turn-off on the Bermagui Wallaga Lake Road at 10.40pm on Saturday. One vehicle contained five people and the other vehicle four people. The driver of the vehicle with four passengers on board failed a roadside breath test, recorded a reading of 0.142.

The 18-year-old male from the Tilba area was charged with mid-range drink driving and inquiries continue with possible other charges. Two passengers in the second vehicle were conveyed to Bega Hospital while other passengers from both vehicles were treated at the scene.
Roundabout accident – A young learner driver was involved in a single vehicle accident on the roundabout at the Princes Highway and McMillan Road at 1.10pm on Thursday. The driver allegedly accelerated instead of braking and travelled around the roundabout before crashing into the visitor centre car park. The driver was issued a ticket for negligent driving.
Cannabis at court – A 19-year-old local male sentenced to a period of imprisonment at Narooma Local Court at 12.40pm on Thursday, September 15 was escorted to Narooma police station where he was searched and found to be in possession of 2.26 grams of cannabis. He was charged with possession. The man had been in court appearing on arson charges in relation to a fire at a boat shed on Riverside Drive, Narooma in July.
Suspended license – Police followed an ACT registered vehicle travelling north out of Narooma at 7.55pm on Tuesday, September 13. The driver was stopped due to speeding and while he passed a breath test, he could not produce a license. He was found to only hold earner and R-class licenses, both of which were suspended due to demerit points. Inquiries continue.
Model cars stolen – Unknown persons broke into a Marine Drive, Narooma premises between Wednesday, September 7 and 1.30pm on Saturday stealing two model cars.
Fence damaged – Someone damaged 15 panels of a Colorbond fence on Binalong Street, Dalmeny some time between 6pm Saturday and 7am Sunday.
Bike stolen – A blue Trek mountain bike was stolen from the caravan park on the Narooma Flat between 8pm Saturday and 11am Sunday.
