The weather wasn't too kind with an occasional shower doing its best to disturb what little talent the bowlers possessed but no-one was too worried about that.
All the bowlers had a heap of fun with the girls from Narooma Golf Club and the boys from South Coast Lighting winning the best dress prizes.
The putting competition was monopolised by Troy Beecham who holed his first putt to make the final, then holed his first putt in the final to win a great sound system donated by Betta Electrics.
As with previous years the auction attracted some fantastic prizes and some fierce bidding. Thanks must go to Mrs Lorna Smyth who donated some excellent port collections which helped the day’s proceeds very greatly.
The raffle of items donated by local businesses was amazing with over 50 prizes in total being distributed to lucky winners.
All profits from the day, at this stage estimated to be over $6000, will be donated to local community groups, clubs and charities. Keep an eye on the Narooma News as the Deviates present the cheques in the next few weeks.
Thanks go to Club Narooma for their fantastic cooperation, to the Gold Sponsors for their generosity and to the many businesses from Narooma, Dalmeny and also this year from Moruya who supported the day. Last of all a huge thank you to our bowlers who made the day such a success.
