Daryl Bond from Narooma Ocean Hut Compleat Angler recommends getting out on the estuaries as they have not been too bad. One young fella has been getting plenty of jewfish between Tuross and Batemans Bay.

Now here is Bermagui Country Club Social Anglers report from ‘Hooked’:
BCC Social Anglers – A great getaway, weekend at Wallaga Lake was the enjoyment of the BCC Social Anglers. New members found this an experience to remember with the added benefit of perfect weather for fun in the sun. A fishing competition encouraged many anglers, but with a will to win, Robert Brown made a good showing taking out the prize. Thank you to those who organised the beautiful Christmas celebration dinner on Saturday, which was once again, a highlight for club members. The holiday period will, no doubt, attract anglers, allowing some more “fish tales” when we meet again in 2017. A healthy and happy Festive Season to all. – HOOKED
