It was a very hot and windy day and Maggie finished 4th in A Grade. The girls stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel at Double Bay, attended a cocktail party and dinner, went on a harbour cruise for the finalists and their guests and were all VIP's in the Hyundai Marquee on the 18th green at the Australian Open at Royal Sydney GC.
Maggie and Lynn urge all golfers to register for this event, free on Golflink, as there are three grades and the prizes are fantastic.
There were four juniors in the final - two of them new golfers this year, but the winner was a 71-year-old from Coolongatta Tweed Golf Club, Dave Collins playing off 12 hcp. The girls are pictured prior to the round with the Genesis Cup.
Maggie won a Callaway XR16 driver and a dozen Callaway balls on the way to the final. Well Done Maggie!
