It’s a celebration of what great about Australia and celebrates some of the local achievements in the community as well as a chance to relax and enjoy a barbecue breakfast on the beach front. Everyone is invited to come along and join the fun.
The event is on regardless of the weather, as the clubhouse is available for the breakfast and ceremony.
The breakfast kicks off at 8am and is proudly hosted by Narooma Surf Club, Narooma and District Lions Club and the Dalmeny Deviates.
The flag raising and award ceremony starts at 10am and will be held on the beach reserve next to the SLSC clubhouse. Quota will be again looking for the best Australian outfits on the day, so dress up in your best Aussie outfits kids!
This year there are a record number of nominations up for awards including Event of the Year, Community Group of the Year, Local Sporting Hero and Local Heroes, Senior and Young Local Heroes.
The committee and judges would like to thank all those who took the time to nominate a person, event or group for this event.
