“It runs three times each day and is interesting for people who know nothing about sheep as well as those in the know.” Ms Reid said.

Ms Reid said other highlight events include the always popular Motorbike Obstacle Course, held at 3pm in the rodeo arena.

She also recommended the Crocodile Encounters show, held three times dail, where kids – and kids at heart – can have a selfie with a snake or croc.

Ms Reid’s final pick was the Showjumping Derby, on late Sunday afternoon.

“We open up the horse arena so we have a lot of space for a real derby-style event,” Ms Reid said.

Saturday

The Stock Dog Challenge at 1.30pm in the rodeo arena sees the Eurobodalla’s top dogs in action.

Reckless FMX perform crazy motorcycle stunts at 12pm and 5pm in the rodeo arena.

The new for 2017 Wife Carry competition, with heats at 2.30pm on the oval, and the final just before 7pm in the rodeo arena.

Rose Stuart Cup six-bar showjumping at 4.30pm in one of the equestrian highlights of the show.

The Famers Challenge at 12.30pm in front of the bar will see teams of four race over a series of agricultural challenges.

The rodeo starts at 7pm in the rodeo arena.

Sunday

The Flag Race (equestrian) is sure to be fast and furious at 11am, in the rodeo arena.

Put on your ear-muffs for the post ripping and shearing from 10.30am, in front of the bar.

The Whip Crack will be a snap at 2pm, on the oval.

Aspiring cowboys and cowgirls should mosey up for the Poddy-Calf Ride, for under 14s, at 3pm in the rodeo arena.

And the Pie Eating competition at 1.30pm, in front of the bar.
