Providing the musical entertainment were Mr Dunn’s daughter Edwina Dunn and her folk-singing partner Enrico "Deko" Decolle, who had just flown in from a chilly Berlin, Germany.
The private fundraising charity concert, saw the musical pair introduced by the Rev. David Oliphant and the Monty’s Folk Trio, the three musicians who play regularly at Monty’s Cafe, a charitable lunch venue put on every Wednesday at the Narooma Uniting Church.
The day before the concert at dad’s place, the Berlin-based folk duo also performed at the Estia Dalmeny aged care facility to entertain the senior residents.
Around 60 people attended that concert, including some senior residents of the nearby IRT Dalmeny retirement village.
While in Australia, Edwina and Deko were also guest performing at the Tilba Valley Winery and at Braidwood's Yately House.
Edwina Dunn, originally from Tilba, plays acoustic guitar, banjo, mandolin, harmonica and violin.
Enrico Decolle or “Deko” as he is known is originally from Italy and plays acoustic and electric guitars, dobro, banjo, percussions and pianet.
The duo write all their own songs with Edwina’s signature tunes including “Easy Road”, “Coming Home” to Australia and recently “Clancy”.
Deko’s songs include “Leo”, “Father”, “Alone Again” and most recently “Dust”.
