Last Tuesday’s social bowlers were keen for a game, however the greens went “under” during heavy rain forcing a change in strategy. Two games of indoor bowls were played producing much frivolity and wayward bowls. Jenny Coulson, Heather McGourty, Mavis Hardy and Merrie Downie (skip) managed the new conditions well with a good win against Aurelia Robinson, Marg Naylor, Helen Donovan and Barb McNamara (skip). Merrie’s team also won the lucky rink. Dawn Kenny won the raffle prize from Rapley’s. Sue Wales is sent best wishes and special birthday greetings tomorrow.
