The sides were tied at 10 all at half time but the approaching electrical storm caused officials to obey protocol and hold the restart until it was safe. After half an hour the game was called off as players had cooled down too far to restart but then the torrential rain hit to make it a certain cancellation. Tries to Ali Elmasri and big Tim Crome (his fourth in two games) and a conversion by Ryan Norris brought the Devils points and they looked to be going well with a strong chance of winning the game. It is yet to be decided whether the game will be replayed or declared a draw. The Ladies League Tag team came up against a strong Moruya Sharkettes outfit, going down 34-0. Best players were Laura Spicer, Jaydean Lonsdale and Shelby Johnson, with Kira Campbell and Kate Rotumah also having good games. The Under 18s continued their good form with a 32-18 win against the Sharks.
