Narooma Rotarian Michael O’Connor heads off for 1000 km walk

Rotarian Michael O'Connor boarded the Premier bus from Narooma to Sydney on Monday morning, the first leg of his great adventure to walk the 1000 kilometres on the Bibbulmun Track from Albany to Perth in Western Australia.

While the dolphins in the movie Hitchhikers Guide sang “so long and thanks for all the fish”, Narooma adventurer Michael O’Connor preferred another movie quote as he boarded the bus to Sydney saying: “I’ll be back”.
