The Narooma U/12 Comets came out firing in the first half, surprising the competition leading Peppers with some outstanding defence in both goal thirds. Unfortunately they were not able to hold onto their initial lead going down 19-8 in the final quarter.

The Narooma NOVAS have been working hard at training over the last few weeks on their game structure and placement on the court which payed off again on game day.
The girls should be very proud of their excellent teamwork, creating a wonderful flow of play with many opportunities at goal.
Our defenders were quick to intercept and turn the play back around. But what shone through the most was their sportsmanship - laughing smiling and interacting with their opponents when not in play.
Player of the match for the NOVAS this week went to Marli Clark - Well Done Marli for your determination and improvement in all areas.
The Narooma Flames defeated the Tuross Titans 35-5. Congratulations to Sarah Mead who had a great second half as GS. Hard to believe it's only her 3rd game!
A happy birthday shout out to Clarinda who played a strong game in defence. Well done to all players!
Due to torrential rain on Friday and the imminent forecast for Saturday, the Shooting Stars and the Nightmares decided to forfeit their games.
One little girl from the Shooting Stars even said to her coaches, “I don’t want my friends to get sick or hurt themselves playing in the rain.”
So, hindsight is a great thing. On Saturday, the sun shone and the day was lovely, perfect even, for a game of netball. We are all looking forward to playing, next week!
