On rink three Jenny Coulson and Dawn Kenny (skip) combined well, leading early until scores matched on the 15th end against Sue Bender and Shirley Pilgrim.
Winning the last two ends, Jenny and Dawn went on to win the lucky rink prize. Bev Bowater won the raffle. Happy Birthday wishes for a special lady, our patron Vena Butt for next Monday.
Club Triples
Last Friday Pam Grant, Kerry Ferguson and Sandra Breust, playing excellent bowls, took control early in the final of the Club Triples.
Denise Holman played consistent lead bowls but she and team mates Gail Palmer and Gail Riley, despite making a comeback, were unable to make up the deficit and conceded the game by three shots.
Congratulations to Pam, Kerry and Sandra, our Club Triples Champions for 2017.

Social Bowls Winners Circle.
Wednesday, June 21. The monthly Jack-Pot saw 44 bowlers (6 triples & 2 pairs) nominate for the afternoon matches.
The match winners on the day was the team with the highest winning margin, & that team consisted of Peter Dillon, Larry Hardingham and Kelly Hayward, with a good high score and a high shot margin over Phil Pike, Pat Feale and D. Ryan.
Runners-up were Leigh Falkiner, Warrick George and Tony Palmer, with 30 shots and a shot margin of 18 over Neville Cork, Jeff Isles and Gerry Simmons, 12 shots.
The Jack-Pot Draw was carried out and the required winning shot margin was 15, with the team of Tony Fryer, Gil Riley and Tony Gors scoring 30 shots over their opponents 15.
Saturday, June 24. Jack-Pot pairs Saturday drew 24 bowlers for the afternoon matches.
The winners for the day were decided by the team with the highest winning margin, and that team, with a margin of a lot, was Peter Hattam and Peter Pickett, over a couple of blokes who failed to turn up.
Runners-up were Keith Pickett and Tony Gors, and they also had a high winning margin over a side that did turn up but went home early.
The Jack-Pot lucky rink draw was then carried out to see who the winning skip on that rink was and give him a chance to cut the deck of cards in an attempt to turn up Joker.
The winning skip on lucky rink 4 was Greg Ryan partnered by Jon Voytas.
He cut the deck and came up with Joker, walking away with the $580 Jack-pot.
Well done Greg, so the Jack-Pot starts again next time at $200.
Sunday, June 25. The afternoon mixed Joe’s Special matches had 20 brave souls (2 rinks triples and 2 pairs) come along for the afternoon games.
The winners on the day were, Betty Blakely and Rob McIntyre (shared lead position), Pat Wood and Warren (skip of the year) Bender with 18 shots over John Penn (visitor) Peter Hawker and Merrie Downie, 11 shots.
Club Triples Championship.
The match between Gerry Harvey, Col Armstrong and Keith Bowater 32 shots over Jon Voytas, Stan Bordiuk and Jeremy Seaton 14.
Also Paul Simms, Dennis Maggs and Brian Seaman 33 shots, over Alan Chisholmn, Rod Holman and Peter Jones 10.
Dalmeny Women’s Bowls
June 20: It was another beautiful Dalmeny day on the green. Whilst several rinks played social bowls, a thrilling final to the Championship Pairs was happening.
Each round of the Championship has produced close scores and excellent bowls and this match was no exception.
Margaret Laker and Maureen McKenzie triumphed on the last end to be victors over Gail Farrell and Pat Barklem.
Congratulations to all players and especially to Margaret and Maureen.
Winners for social bowls were lead Olwyn Mayer, second Barbara Wort and skip Barbara Pearce with Chris Hansen, Pat Cameron and Kathy Ryan as runners-up.
Pat Cameron had a good day as she also was closest to the spider and scored a resting toucher. Well done to all bowlers.
We wished Pat Barklem a happy birthday. Margaret Macauley and Olwyn Mayer were the lucky raffle winners.
Diary dates include the next Quarterly meeting followed by the AGM, at 10am on July 19.
It was nice to see Chris back at the bar, doing a great job. Good bowling at the friendly club.
Dalmeny Men’s Bowls
Week ending June 25: Once again in fine conditions 39 bowlers filled the green on Monday afternoon with the points system deciding the winners on 22 points, in a swinging Snoopy Leigh, Par Wain and Ashley Footprint from the runners-up on 21.5 in once again Steal Coulson, Bruce Coverkins and Barry Arminter.
The first resting toucher went to Account Gourley but the $301 jackpot was not claimed.
The wrong bias sinners were Ex.PM Neil (2) and Peter The Hobbit and the raffle prizes organised by Account Cartwright went to Windy Ray, Dr. McKenzie’s boy Bruce, Clive KV and Broker Jim.
Thursday’s fine but cool weather had 34 bowlers on No.2 green with the highest winning margin as the game decider.
Winners on a massive 31 were some familiar faces, the violin-playing comic’s boy Ken and the Footsen couple Christine and Finn from the runners-up in a 3-way countback on 16 in the visiting Mexican couple Anne-Marie and Dennis Whiskey-a.
No resting toucher was scored nor was the $128 jackpot won. The only wrong bias sinner was Account Gourley while the raffle prizes went to L-rentacar Garry, Ex.PM Neil, Golden Arches Alan, Anne-Marie, Dipper Ron, Lloyd Raise-them and that boy Ken again.
Our Shark Finn Hansen in the final of the Central South Coast district division of the State Singles Championship played at Tomakin had a very good 31/20 win in his match over Tony Millard of Bermagui.
Congratulations Finn on another fine win and may they continue as you enter into the Zone finals at a date and venue to be determined.
