The AWL branch has been lucky enough to receive a number of donations from members of the public that include monetary donations, prizes for raffles and events, food, blankets and animal products. In return the AWL sends a thank-you card.
Club Trust Moruya and Narooma provide art and craft classes for their clients and an idea was put forward by AWL Eurobodalla secretary Jacinta Murray and president Gabe Eichler, who is a support worker for The Disability Trust, for the class to make handmade cards for the AWL branch to use.
After consultation with both organisations the idea has now become a reality and The Disability Trust clients at Club Trust Moruya and Narooma have become very enthusiastic and have produced some very creative designs.
In turn, the AWL Eurobodalla branch has received a very positive response from the recipients of the cards.
Clients from Club Trust Moruya together with Trust mascot “Trusty” recently met some members of AWL branch including their mascot “Cleo”, aka Gabe Eichler, a happy union for both teams with animals and humans working together.
