Mitch was the winning apprentice from the South East Region, encompassing the Illawarra, the Southern Highlands and the South Coast to the Victorian border.
Rob Hudson from Hudson Building Services, who employs Mitch, said the awards recognised apprentices for their ability, character, performance and merit in their trade.
“With Mitch recently completing his carpentry qualification, it’s great for him to be formally recognised for his effort and skill he showed throughout his apprenticeship,” Mr Hudson said.
Mitch was unable to attend the MBA Awards Gala night held in Ulladulla on June 17 as he was overseas, so Mr Hudson accepted the award on his behalf and presented it to Mitch on his return.
