The first match for the Bodalla Club was our Bodalla Blossoms playing the Mini Waves in the NetSetGo division. The Blossoms took the court with only six players and a lot of heart. Coach Annie was very pleased with how the girls were putting into play strategies and ball skills they had been practising at training. Well done Blossoms for the huge effort you put into your game!.
Up next was the 10's Division. The Bodalla Pacers playing the Broulee Bluebells. The Pacers were fired up from the outset with the girls showing themselves to be as tough in defence as they are in attack. Throughout the season the girls have improved from week to week and they stayed true to form again with the final score being 21-1. Well done Pacers.
In the 12's Division the Bodalla Bullets were up against the Broulee Bluebirds. These teams had a close match in the first round with some exciting netball. Second time around both teams had developed in both attack and defence and yes ... it was an exciting match once more. Bodalla's defence was solid and the goal shooters were focused and consistent. The girls did a great job keeping up the pressure until the final buzzer sounded. The full - time score being 25-20 in favour of Bodalla. Both teams did their clubs proud.
Inters 1 Division saw the Bodalla Bombshells playing the Tuross Taipans. A fantastic game of netball was played by both teams ... with plenty of exciting action. The Bombshells came out firing and didn't let up on the pace for the entire game. Solid defence and steady consistent goal shooting saw the Bombshells come out ahead 51-20. Very entertaining netball girls!
The Senior B Division was the final match for the day. This saw the Bodalla Berries playing the Gnarly Waves. Once again solid defence and consistent goal shooting saw the Berries take the lead and stay there with the final score being 51-26. Fantastic netball ladies!
Wishing our girls all the best for Round 14! Go Bodalla!
