The participants saw plenty of whales, while enjoying the diverse forest with its mixture of wattle, banksia, lilly pilly, fig and bangalay.
On Thursday, September 21, Steve Deck led 10 people on a walk north from Picnic Point. They were thrilled to see a pair of hooded plovers, as well as a lone pied oyster catcher.
