Narooma SLSC Club will also be conducting its Registration Day as well, so that potential and returning members can sign up for the upcoming season conveniently and easily.
Members of the public can meet the club’s volunteers and hear about the Junior Nippers Program, the patrolling team and what they do over the season.
Meet the impressive George Bass Surfboat Marathon boat crew, plus learn a bit more about beach safety including tides and rips and the part they play in surf safety. The club’s rescue equipment will also be on display as well.
The club will also be trialling a new roster system for patrols this season where volunteers choose the dates they wish to patrol in advance so that SLSC activities can fit around other commitments and work rosters.
New members are always welcome to join the club’s patrols and can find out more on the open day.
This is a perfect opportunity to come down to the local surf club and find out how to get involved as new members are always welcome.
