The Narooma rider took out the class on her nineteen-year-old Alando. Kenny had planned to retire the chestnut gelding but is having second thoughts.
“He’s won his last two grand-prix classes,” Kenny said.
“I think he is trying to tell me something.”
The Get Real Get Wool Grand Prix class was the premier showjumping event of the show. Kenny also took second place riding the seven-year-old, bay mare Rotherfield Absolute.
“The mare is owned by Hayley Smith,” Kenny told the Bay Post.
“She is half standardbred, half thoroughbred.”
Kenny also picked up minor placings in the six-bar, one-metre-twenty, and one-metre-fifteen classes.
