APS6 Finance Analyst

Your new role

• Build good working partnerships with business areas by developing and providing trusted advice
• Prepare and present financial reports to help senior executives with their decision making
• Prepare and deliver external budgets, provide high level strategic advice to key senior stakeholders based on research/analysis of financial results

• Managing the delivery of complex projects, including project management, presenting results, and liaising with senior members
• Promoting effective decision making using financial tools

What you'll need to succeed

• Relevant qualifications – CA/CPA, coupled with relevant experience in financial analysis, management accounting or finance business partnering
• An analytical mindset with well-developed written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail and strong project management skills
• SAP skills highly regarded
• Baseline Security clearance

This role is centrally located in Canberra with a large department where you can grow and develop your career. Offering a positive work culture and a development focused management team, with a salary of $85,000 – $95,000 p.a. + Super, depending on level of experience. Salary match for S26 transfers.
